| Hey ya'll. It's been a long long long long long long long long long....... time. I wonder how many of ya'll are still actually using this thing? Would you believe a married man like me actually enjoys using this? That's right, since my last time here, i got hitched to the most amazing woman in my life: my wife, Stephany Hicks. Since our marriage, things have been absolutely amazing! Not that things weren't amazing before. There just amazing in a different way now. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. Anyway, we got married, i started school, and she is working full time now. Well actually she started a new job a few weeks ago, was let go (the same day that she was going to let them know she wanted to quit, lol), and is getting ready to start her other job. Something to do with looking after disabled people. Kind of makes me want to get a job at a nursing home. I used to love going to the one my great grandma went to. Ok, I'm drifting off again. hehe. Homework sucks, and classes are really, REALLY hard to keep up with while having a job and being a husband. Trust me fellas; looking after your future wife is enough work as is!!! I dropped some classes and things have calmed down a bit. Except for recently. Well actually recently and a few weeks ago. See, Stephany was on birth control for awhile. Well guess what? She got pregnant while on it (surprise surprise). But just when we started to get real excited about it, she miscarried; the birth control had aborted our baby, much to our dismay and surprise. Apparently we were misled. Birth control does NOT prevent a woman from getting pregnant; it prevents a fertilized egg from attaching itself to a woman's uterus, thus causing it to pass through her. Well once this happened, we immediately decided to take her off of it. Well a few weeks later, she got pregnant again, and the same exact thing happened. Our doctor had forgotten to tell us to wait a couple of months because the lining in her uterus was still altered and therefore would still not be able to hold a baby. So needless to say, we went through a world of hurt. Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying for us, especially our relatives. Mr and Mrs Wallace, you guys rock my socks off! Thank you for visiting us and encouraging us. Anyway, that's what has been going on in our lives lately. I am working full time next semester and am planning to attend either BBC in Clark Summit, Pa., or Appalation Bible College in West Virginia next year. Maybe i'll be a father by then! Hope ya'll are doing well. I miss talking to so many of you! God bless. | | |
| So tnite i'm here at school. Most people seem to be off campus or at home, my wonderful fiance is hanging w/ her best friend, and there's no schoolwork to be done, so i find myself writing on here to try and past the time. So finals are done, and everyone is going home for the summer. One more day of fellowship week though. Wonder how many people are actually going to go. Seems like people haven't been using their xangas lately. I wonder if anyone will be using this thing over the summer.
Hmm... i actually don't feel like writing anything on here right now. Maybe i'll come back later. See ya'll.
| Well, another day has passed and i can only hope and pray that my great and mighty Lord was pleased with the way i used my time today. I have been longing for a closer walk with Him lately. I can't remember the last time that I felt myself in the presence of my King, or that I was filled with His Spirit. Well actually I can; it was about a year ago, back when i was in Boston... Pray for me, as I am longing for a closer walk with my amazing Savior.
It's been such a wonderful day today. Classes in the morning, work in the afternoon, relaxin tonight, but unfortunately not with my amazing almost-wife. Work has been so amazing. I love the work that I am doing, and I absolutely love the people I am working with. Please, if anyone reading this prays for me, please pray also for Melvin, Tony, Quinton, Mike, and Tylor. They all need Christ so very desperately. They are some of the most honest, non-judgemental people I have ever come across, and they are so easy to talk to. I love them all so much and wish to see them all come to Christ soon. So please PRAY!!
Things are going well with wedding planning. I'm sure my beautiful fiancee, the xanga-freak she is, will update on that eventually. Hope ya'll are having an amazing night!
